Build An Online Business In 2017 With A Blog The Right Way. Get the guidance, and a map to show you the path that leads where many six figure earners are…

ONLINE BUSINESS

There are several ways to build an online business but one that I’ve used for over 7 years has been blogging online and finding a reputable companies, system (s) or affiliate programs is key to branding yourself.

Branding yourself is important to your better secured business plus enjoy your business for years and even decades. You do this by investing in additional wealth of knowledge you can interpret in your own way making it unique, targeting your market is important to note as well.

One rule that must be implemented right away from the beginning of your business is, You need to become a product of the product so you can speak honestly, with authority and intelligently about the company or maybe you have your own product.

This has been one of the most valuable gained knowledge over the years in online business. I continue to learn and invest as I grow my business using the right systems with reputable companies. Why? Because when you know, use and implement the systems and affiliate programs you would want only to promote or sponsor one that you personally know works and you can attest to it! Your Credibility is at Stake!

Blogging affords you the leverage of reaching millions of people in any primary niche and cross marketing into other niches which can be very lucrative as well.

The number one most valuable product in my business has been the Free Attraction Marketing Bootcamp. What this free 10 day attraction marketing bootcamp does is, It sends you different attraction marketing strategies daily and how to use it in your business and your marketing directly into your email everyday for ten days and when you finish the bootcamp I can honestly say that this attraction marketing bootcamp will help you improve your marketing strategy and generate more leads and make more sales in your business.

online business

This is why I’ve personally helped over 400 people in just one business and using it myself. This is how I know it works. I own most of EMP products and use them all in my business because they are effective and gets me results.

The question is, How can you build an online business with a blog ?

You must provide high value and a solution to a problem your readers or visitors are hungry for or are in need of so they will be more inclined to return to read more of your content, subscribe to your newsletter, or purchase your product (s).

You see, when you are freely giving away valuable information, knowledge, how to guides and educating people in a particular niche or market you fill a need or solve a problem and as a result many will follow you along your journey and even pay you for other product you might have.

People are always looking for solutions to a problem online and if you can give them the solution then you have a potential subscriber, follower, possibly a friend or JV – Joint Venture or business partner and in many cases someone who wants to invest in themselves.

If your audience comes to trust and like you they would be more than likely to buy from you later in the relationship.

What does this have to do with building an online business? Everything!

You see, you need to have this kind of focus and excitement before you begin blogging to make it the nerve center of your online business. Simply put, if your blog cannot provide a solution to a specific problem or fill a need then you are prong to failure from the start.

Word of advise: Do your due diligence in the market or niche you are targeting. Learn more about the niche by visiting websites like Google Keyword Planner which is a free tool to use and can provide you with information/data to help you launch your blog more prepared, and there are other tools but some will cost you.

Visit other blogs in your niche and create an alliance with them if possible, not only can you get a link back from a higher authority blog which can provide great exposure to you, your brand and your blog! You can do this by asking to guest post on their blog for exchange a link back to your blog.

I also wrote a great in-depth article about market research you can read here > How to do market research for your business website or blog

Find the right market by using a specific problem people might be searching for online and most of the times you could find through simply doing a Google Search.

You will find the top ten blogs or websites related to this market and can provide you with keywords they are using in their articles or pages by simply taking the Website/Blog URL and inputing it into Google Keyword Tool and it will provide you with a list of keywords they are using in their website or blog like I show you how to do in the article mentioned in previous paragraph.

Google keyword tool will freely tell you how many people are in your market and other related keywords you can use in your content and marketing.

Maybe you have an idea you think you would like to talk about with your audience on your blog but you should do a market research to see if you even have a market and more importantly, buyers!

I know Photographers, Knitting Instructors, Business Magazines, Carpenters, Architects, and many other online business (s) whom use a blog to keep their audience up to date on new developments, new products , or new information.

Use an autoresponder like Aweber mail management system to build your own list (s) of subscribers and/or buyers. With an autoresponder you can keep in touch with your subscribers and buyers to build a long lasting relationship and potentially lifetime consumers as well.

And it is important that you truly and honestly enjoy what ever you blog is about. Just make your blog, Yours! Have a good time, provide high value and meet wonderful people plus as a bonus you can get paid by recommending products you have used, you can tell them more about how it will help them as it has helped you.

You can truly enjoy blogging and sharing plus it can be the best experience in your online business when you love what you do. You’ll never work a day in your life!

Let your creativity and ideas flow as if you were speaking to your best friend (s). online business ideas

Quick Tips:

  • Set aside time to dedicate to your blog away from distractions.
  • Develop a routine of a certain time you would like to do your blogging.
  • Everyday create a list of at least 5 top priorities needed to be completed first the following day and then work on less priority tasks like emails or social media or making phone calls.

Learn how to leverage social media outlets to bring in awareness to your brand, products and your blog. Invest in self-development areas like, ” Marketing “.

If no-one sees your products or your brand then simply your business dies as quickly as you start your business online.

There are free methods to do marketing as well and these methods combined with paid methods plus a complete system to market your business professionally from the beginning and have the training plus step by step video instructions on how to use the complete system.

Me, I prefer in the morning when having a nice cup of coffee and a fresh mind.

One of the habits developed over the years has been improving my time management by jotting down that great idea you just thought of while commuting to work in the morning and then use it for an awesome blog post or article you would like to expand on later on.

It has worked great for me and think it will for you as well. There are endless ideas all around you, you just have to be more observant.

If we don’t jot these valuable ideas down when you think of them you will surely forget what it was like I have many times until I learned this little technique and it has allowed me to come up with some great content over the years.

You can also find out what is trending that could be related to your market. You can use a free tool like Google Trends and do a search for your market.

Don’t just copy and paste from another website or information you find in a magazine. This is copywriting infringement and Google frowns on this however, you could syndicate by using your own take on it and sending them to the article if they wish to read more.

Recommended things you need for your own online business blog:

Building An Online Business On A Budget

Have You Thought Building A Business Online To Be Out Of Your Reach ?

Build Your Own Business

I am sure most would say, YES.

And believe me I thought the same and was really intimidated by all of the stuff that goes along with building an online business.

I want to put some relieve to your thoughts and probably your fear or intimidation when you look at all the parts that go into putting a business together.

Unlike a small business shop or store you don’t have to sort of not have an overhead, no employees unless you outgrow your capacity which could happen, you also don’t even need a product believe or not.

You can create a simple blog or website around your passion and use other people’s product to sell on your site or build an online store using Drop Shipping provided by wholesalers.

Here is the break down the basics of what is needed to build your own online business website or blog:

  1. You need Hosting for your site ( $10 a month )
  2. Domain Name ( $12 a year )
  3. Email Autoresponder ( $20 a month )
  4. Now you need other people’s products you could sell on your site. Here are a three popular affiliate networks you can join for free: Clickbank.com, CJ.com and Amazon.com.

That’s It! You can get by with this only until you grow your business further.

Another way to sell affiliate products is to join an Affiliate Marketing platform that provides you with the training, tools and resources plus products you can sell without having to build a website or blog.

Two of the more popular affiliate marketing platforms are:

  1. Elite Marketing Pro

Elite Marketing Pro

  1. Mobe

Wholesaling Products On eBay or Personal Website:

how-to-make-money-on-ebayAnother very popular method of making money online is by selling products on eBay but the challenge for most is finding products to sell on eBay.

Most product owners will not sell to private individuals and will definitely not wholesale to you as a private individual.

But fortunately there are wholesale suppliers that offer Drop Shipping directly to the customer so you don’t have to stock inventory and worry about order fulfillment or payment processing which is an excellent choice for selling products on eBay or on your website too.

This wholesale directory sources also provides you with the opportunity to create your own online store without having to build your own website or stocking your own products.

These are two popular ways of selling online and Building An Online Business On A Budget.

Facebook Social Media Is The Biggest Marketing Opportunity

facebook ppc

Facebook changes the rules on how you interact with people and how you market to them as well. Marketing as an activity is all about reaching the right customers with the right products, and the result sought has delighted customers who are more than willing to open their purses wide enough to boost their revenues.

For many years, marketers stalked their target customers through various means and by trying to get their message across to spread awareness about their wares.

Traditional Means of Communication

Traditionally, marketing communications were conducted via print, broadcast and such traditional media through disruptive advertising, where advertisements appear in between the content of interest for the customer.

Traditional media does give a large reach to a marketer with its programming of mass appeal.

However, the wastage is equally high, since a large portion of the audience would belong to a different segment than the one that is to be targeted by the marketer.

Enter Social Media and the Internet

The revolution stirred by the internet as a medium took place because of the fact that it is highly personalized and provides more content on-demand than any other available medium.

Social sites proliferated far and wide in their usage for a few simple reasons:

  • The power to create and distribute content is equally available to every user, irrespective of him/her being a customer or a marketer. In the earlier forms of media, that power rested with the editorial staff of the channel or the advertiser, but hardly ever with the user.
  • The medium is completely personalized, and a user can create or join groups and further create content based on what he/she likes.
  • Opinions are free and fair. This is one reason why social media is of utmost concern to marketers, since buying decisions are no more influenced as much by advertisements. The traditional word-of-mouth marketing approach has grown leaps and bounds on social networks.
  • Today you can communicate person to person via FaceTime on facebook and be live with an audience which gives new meaning to the term “instant engagement” like you were on live TV.

Facebook – At the Center of Social Media

With over a billion (and growing) unique users worldwide, Facebook is the number one social networking site in terms of activity and subscriptions.

What started as a garage initiative by Mark Zuckerberg has now become the biggest phenomenon on the internet.

A user interface that allows for quick communication and the ability to create fan pages and groups at the click of a mouse button are what make Facebook extremely popular.

Another important reason for its immense popularity is the wide variety of social applications that have been developed and made available within the Facebook environment.

These applications can allow users and friends to do joint activities like playing games that run endlessly, sharing photos, videos, and web links, and many more.

To understand why, we have to look at Facebook’s priorities: revenue (it is essentially a paid marketing channel) and time in app and on site (one reason the network is prioritizing native video over outbound links – more on that soon).

( Talk about finding little nuggets that yield big dividends, I got an email this morning with and article about algorithms on social media and being an SEO guy I had to read it and found this little nugget most marketers are not aware of.

Notice the “native video” in red color, its because i found it in this same article below and a great read if your geeky like me :-). In other words, if you upload a personal video directly from your computer being an original it will reward you with views versus a link leaving Facebook will not get as much visibility because Facebook does not want traffic leaving Facebook.

Here is a great article by Website Magazine called, “Beating Algos on Social Mediait goes over Facebook algorithms and how you should look at marketing on social media.

How does this help a marketer?

Traditionally, media plans were drawn to include television channels, publications, or any other media that can grab maximum eyeballs and effectively reach a selected target audience.

The science of segmentation and targeting has become only more accurate in the case of social media.

Facebook provides a wide variety of avenues to communicate with the audience, which opens up an entirely different world of possibilities to have a fruitful dialogue with customers.

Some of these methods used popularly by marketers are:

Advertising: The first opportunity, which is the mostMarketing obvious one, is advertising on Facebook. The difference, however, is the fact that you can create your own advertisement in a matter of minutes and also specify the details of your target group in terms of demographics and types of discussions where you want your advertisement to appear.

Fan Pages: Facebook allows every brand, as well as individual users, to create fan pages for their favorite celebrities and their own homegrown businesses.

Large brands have also created their official pages on Facebook that have a huge, immediate fan following around the world. The fan page has immense utility to convey first hand information about the brand and also to collect immediate and frank feedback from your customers.

Branded applications: One of the most effective ways to engage a user toward your brand is by creating an application; this could be a game or a contest, with your branding coming across subtly through it.

What makes Facebook even more exciting is the way it allows you to target your communication sharply just to the customer segment you want to attract.

It also provides analytics and page insights that give good feedback and measurement on the activity done.

The options provided by Facebook can be creatively explored and used judiciously for bringing about maximum benefits to any brand.

However, while doing all this, you need to be aware of the fact that customers have an equal say and have the ability to respond immediately to any of your actions with a thumbs up or a thumbs down.

Availing the service of a social media consultant to work out a social media strategy may be required so that your efforts will not be in vain.

Which Affiliate Networks To Look Out For When Promoting ?

Affiliate MarketingThere are many horror stories about affiliate programs and networks. People have heard them over and over again, that some are even wary of joining one.

The stories they may have heard are those related to illegal programs or pyramid schemes. Basically, this kind of market does not have real, worthy product.

You do not want to be associated with these schemes. It is obvious you want to be with a program that offers high quality product that you will readily endorse.

The growing number of those who have joined already and are succeeding immensely is proof enough that there are reliable and quality affiliate programs out there.

Why participate in an affiliate program?

It allows you to work part-time. It gives you the opportunity to build a generous residual income. And it makes you an owner of a small business.

Affiliate programs have already created lots of millionaires. They are the living testimony of how hard work; continuous prospecting, motivating and training others pay off.

If ever you are deciding to join one, you must take note that you are getting into something that is patterned to what you are capable of.This will be an assurance that you are capable of doing anything to come out successful.

How do you choose a good affiliate program to promote ?

Here are some tips you may want to look over before choosing affiliate networks:

1. A program that you like and have interest in. One of the best ways of knowing if that is the kind of program you wish to promote is if you are interested in purchasing the product yourself. If that is the case, chances are, there are many others who are also interested in the same program and products.

2. Look for a program that is of high quality. For instance, look for one that is associated with many experts in that particular industry. This way, you are assured that of the standard of the program you will be joining into.

3. Join in the ones that offer real and viable products. How do you know this? Do some initial research. If possible, track down some of the members and customers to give you testimonial on the credibility of the program.

4. The program that is catering to a growing target market. This will ensure you that there will be more and continuous demands for your referrals. Make inquiries. There are forums and discussions you can participate in to get good and reliable feedbacks.

5. A program with a compensation plan that pays out a residual income and a payout of 30% or more would be a great choice. There are some programs offering this kind of compensation. Look closely for one. Do not waste your time with programs that do not reward substantially for your efforts.

6. Be aware of the minimum quotas that you must fulfill or sales target that is too hard to achieve. Some affiliate programs imposes pre-requisites before you get your commissions. Just be sure that you are capable of attaining their requirements.

7. Select one that has plenty of tools and resources that can help you grow the business in the shortest possible time. Not all affiliate programs have these capacities. Make use you decide on one with lots of helpful tools you can use.

8. Check out if the program has a proven system that can allow you to check your networks and compensation. Also check if they have it available online for you to check anytime and anywhere.

9. The program that is offering strong incentives for members to renew their membership each time. The affiliate program that provides continuous help and upgrades for its products have the tendency to retain its members. These things can assure the growth of your networks.

10. Be aware of the things that members are not happy about in a program. Like with the ones mentioned above, you can do your checking at discussion forums. If you know someone in that same program, there is ho harm asking if there are many downsides involved.

Have a thorough and intensive knowledge about the affiliate program and network you will be promoting on.

Knowing the kind of program you are getting yourself into will make you anticipate and prevent any future problems you may encounter.
