So, How can these social signals help you with your business ?
I will use my blog as an example since I’ve run my blog for a few years now and have had a chance to see the results of increased social media signals and engagement.
Once I increased my exposure to social media and took it a little more seriously I immediately seen improved results and continues to play a roll in our marketing strategy.
When we launched our blog it ranked around 17 Million in the search engines specially on Google. Then the site sat around at 7 Million rankings for a while because of lack of focus on my part and chasing shiny objects online.
Yep, I’ve been a victim of chasing shiny objects too but I am over that now. It took a lot of therapy. Just kidding!
Seriously, I then focused once more on publishing better content that is unique, valuable, well researched and implementing social media on the next level and it has made a dramatic difference in my business.
Become Social! After all it is people who you are dealing with and they prefer you being social with them and not trying to cram stuff down their throat, It Doesn’t Work!
I’ve tried just about all tactics and strategies to improve my business brand and reputation as a leader willing to share and help many along the way.
The comment was, Social Media works for some businesses but not for others and some business do not want to grow their business.
For a moment I didn’t know what to say since I was completely stumped by this comment and hope that you don’t think the same way because if you are your missing out on the potential of Social Media for your business.
