Is An Online Business An Immediate Solution For Cash ?

The Number One Question Asked By People Wanting To Start An Online Business: How Fast Can I Make Some Cash ?

online businesssIt is something that needs to be addressed by network marketing companies or any online business and most fail to do so because they are afraid people won’t sign up with them.

One of the first things I tell affiliate marketers and anyone wanting to start a home business is: Network Marketing, MLM, Online Store’s or any online business requires a little time to get the ball rolling, ” sought of speak “.

First there are somethings you need to have in place in order to start generating any kind of cash:

  1. You need a website or an online store where your customers will go to find your product.
  2. You will need Hosting and Domain Name if your building your own website.
  3. You will also need an Autoresponder Email management service like Aweber for example to manage your email subscribers.
  4. You will need a product or products to sell.
  5. You will need to understand marketing basics in order to generate sales. And if you want to accelerate your success then you must learn more advanced marketing methods.

With all this needed to get started, Can an Online Business be an immediate solution for making fast cash ?

Yes and No.

No, If you don’t know anything about doing business online and don’t understand marketing.

So don’t get sucked in by those shiny objects promising you quick riches online.

Yes, If you find a reputable online business that has a done for you option. Meaning, Letting someone else do all the work for you and you get paid. Be aware that this option requires a larger investment.

Note: I don’t want to discourage you from starting your own online business but simply want to inform you of what it is and what it is not so you don’t start with unrealistic expectations.

If you already have an online business make sure that you let others know right up front what their expectations should be and what they need in order to get to their goals.

Everyone who has joined me in one business or another always thanks me for being up front with them and as a result they achieve more because of it.

Try it in your business and I am sure that you will see positive results too.

2 Mistakes That can Kill Your Membership Program

Creating A Successful Membership WebsiteFor a membership program to be successful certain things need to be in place. There are things that can also cause your membership to fail. Let’s look at 2 common mistakes made that can kill your membership program.

Mistake #1 – There is not adequate momentum.
If you want your membership program to be a success you need to have momentum. This means you need to have tons of people that are eager to join.

The minimum number of people you should have ready to sign up is 50. Less than that and it’s not likely to work – your program is likely going to fizzle out. There are few people that will hang on to a dead forum where nothings happening. They want action, information, interesting advice, etc.

There should be at minimum of 10 posts a day happening on your membership site forum. That’s the minimum. You will notice if you can get your membership over a 100 that suddenly things come to life.

Mistake #2 – You start a membership site because you think your idea is good Bottom line – it doesn’t matter what you think is good. It matters whether others have an interest in what your membership site has to offer.

You should be applauded for having the enthusiasm to want to start a membership site, but before you put all of that effort into your idea, make sure what you think is a good idea is really what others are willing to pay to join.

When you start your membership site make sure thatmembers only you take the time to create a buzz before you start your program.

Let’s look at an example. Project 123, created by XYZ is that kind of project that is just begging to be part of a membership program. The place to start is by creating a on buzz on your blog, on Facebook and through other social media channels that builds momentum so that people simply can’t wait to sign up.

That’s two common mistakes that are often made that will cause your membership program to fail. There are plenty of others.

Before you take on a membership site make sure you take some time to research the best way to make your site a success. There are proven things that work and proven things that fail. Knowing this before you begin can reduce your chance of failure.

So, Why You Should Create a Membership Site ?

wishlist-WLM_250X250

If you’ve been thinking about creating a membership site, you should spend a little time to defining just why you should create a membership site and what the benefits will be to you. Let’s have a look at some of the main benefits.

#1 Membership sites provide and easy way for you to interact with your users. If your goal is to build a closed community of people that are committed, this is by far the best way to accomplish this.

Everyone involved has paid money to become involved so they tend to be more committed than those members associated with free communities or open communities.

#2 A membership site is easy to update. Sure, distributing your content or product in the form of an eBook isn’t as complicated, but it is much harder to keep current.

Once you have put it together and it’s out there – that’s pretty much what people get. After a few years, sometimes in a matter of a couple of months, the content is no longer relevant or even if it is relevant it becomes stale. With a membership site you can add, edit or even delete content just like you would with a blog.

#3 You can generate recurring income with your membership site. This is one of the most appealing aspects of a membership site. You can charge a monthly fee or an annual fee, or you can offer both. The more flexible you are the more members you’ll attract.

#4 You don’t need to have good design skills. If you are creating an eBook you need to have some great design skills.

Some people attempt to do their eBooks in PowerPoint if they don’t have the necessary design skills – they quickly learn just how bad of an idea this is.

PowerPoint is not designed for this type of project. When you have a membership site, except for your logo, you can do everything in a pre-made WordPress theme and keep the design minimize.

For many that simple factor makes the membership site the best option.

#5 Your product will continue to evolve and become better over time. The more user interaction allowed the more valuable the information on your site will become and the more information that will actually be created.

This is just five reasons why you should create a membership site. There are certainly others.

Why not give it a try now?

What Are The Keys To Success With An At Home Business ?

Keys To SuccessWhen I talk to six and seven figure earners or doing masterminds the one question that always intrigues me is, What are the Keys To Success with your business ?

The the answer might surprise you but one thing is for sure, the answer is always the same.

There are many elements that are in place to achieve success with an at home business. And I would like to elaborate more on exactly what these are.

On the surface there are three parts you must have to succeed:

  1. You must have a product that people need and are looking for. This is where market research comes into play. First you must have a hungry market with a problem and then have or create a product to give to them the solution. Surprisingly enough, many people try to do it the other way around and it is one of the reasons why they fail.
  2. As mentioned above, You need a Market looking for your product! For example: If you want to catch Salmon you don’t go to the middle of the ocean and throw a net and hope to catch Salmon. No,You go to a river or stream where the Salmons are and then you will have a much better chance of catching some Salmon. In other words you need to know where your market is and what are they looking for.
  3. Now that you have a product and know who your market is you need a way to catch the Salmon, Right ? Now you need traffic to buy your products. This is the number one reason 95% of entrepreneurs fail with an at home business. You need to have a proven marketing strategy that not only gets people to buy your product but do it in a cost effective manner. If it costs you $1.00 to get a customer then you need to be making hopefully $2.00 or more to continue doing business.

The keys to success are having all of these pieces of the puzzle in place but also the true keys to success is having a complete system that streamlines the process for you so you can work more efficiently and more productively.

What do I mean by a system ?

Lead Funnel System

All successful entrepreneurs have a lead funnel system like:

  • Having a website to funnel your prospects and convert them into buyers for you. If your doing affiliate marketing than you need a capture page to collect people’s information so you don’t have to pay for marketing two times for the same customer.
  • You need an effective lead sales funnel which once your prospect or customer enters their email details they are forwarded automatically to the sales page to monetize your leads into sales and if they don’t buy the first time the system can follow up with them to convert them into sales further in the process.
  • You need a follow up system to collect email information. Let me give you an example: When the Temper.pudic mattress came out they collected the email information to stay in touch with their potential customers and many did not buy the first time they received their DVD and Sample in the mail but because they collected their email information they stayed in touch with prospects and some bought even a year or later after their initial contact with them. Emails are free after initially capturing their information.
  • You also need a payment processing system if you have your own product. If you are doing affiliate marketing than this is done for you by the product owner.

Remember at the beginning I said, That all successful entrepreneurs keys to success with their at home business were the same!

Why Write an eBook ?

Do you have an idea you would like to share with others and don’t know if writing an ebook is the answer ?

Writing An EbbokIt’s not true that everything that has been said has already been written. Since that unfortunate axiom came into use, the whole universe has changed.

Technology has changed, ideas have changed, and the mindsets of entire nations have changed.

The fact is that this is the perfect time to write an ebook. What the publishing industry needs are people who can tap into the world as it is today – innovative thinkers who can make the leap into the new millennium and figure out how to solve old problems in a new way.

Ebooks are a new and powerful tool for original thinkers with fresh ideas to disseminate information to the millions of people who are struggling to figure out how to do a plethora of different things.

Let’s say you already have a brilliant idea, and the knowledge to back it up that will enable you to write an exceptional ebook. You may be sitting at your computer staring at a blank screen wondering, “Why? Why should I go through all the trouble of writing my ebook when it’s so impossible to get anything published these days?

Well, let me assure you that publishing an ebook is entirely different than publishing a book in print. Let’s look at the specifics of how the print and cyber publishing industry differ, and the many reasons why you should take the plunge and get your fingers tapping across those keyboards!

Submitting a print book to conventional publishing houses or to agents is similar to wearing a hair shirt 24/7. No matter how good your book actually is, or how many critique services and mentor writers have told you that “you’ve got what it takes,” your submitted manuscript keeps coming back to you as if it is a boomerang instead of a valuable mine of information.

Perhaps, in desperation, you’ve checked out self-publishing and found out just how expensive a venture it can be. Most “vanity presses” require minimal print runs of at least 500 copies, and even that amount will cost you thousands of dollars. Some presses’ minimal run starts at 1,000 to 2,000 copies.

And that’s just for the printing and binding. Add in distribution, shipping, and promotional costs and – well, you do the math. Even if you wanted to go this route, you may not have that kind of money to risk.

Let’s say you already have an Internet business with a quality website and a quality product. An ebook is one of the most powerful ways to promote your business while educating people with the knowledge you already possess as a business owner of a specific product or service.

For example, let’s say that you’ve spent the last twenty-five years growing and training bonsai trees, and now you’re ready to share your knowledge and experience. An ebook is the perfect way to reach the largest audience of bonsai enthusiasts.

Ebooks will not only promote your business – they will help you make a name for yourself and your company, and establish you as an expert in your field. You may even find that you have enough to say to warrant a series of ebooks. Specific businesses are complicated and often require the different aspects to be divided in order for the reader to get the full story.

Perhaps your goals are more finely tuned in terms of the ebook scene. You may want to build a whole business around writing and publishing ebooks. Essentially, you want to start an e-business. You are thinking of setting up a website to promote and market your ebooks. Maybe you’re even thinking of producing an ezine.

One of the most prevalent reasons people read ebooks is to find information about how to turn their Internet businesses into a profit-making machine. And these people are looking to the writers of ebooks to provide them with new ideas and strategies because writers of ebooks are usually people who understand the new cyberspace world we now live in.

Ebook writers are experts in Internet marketing campaigns and the strategies of promoting and distributing ebooks. The cyberspace community needs its ebooks to be successful so that more and more ebooks will be written.

You may want to create affiliate programs that will also market your ebook. Affiliates can be people or businesses worldwide that will all be working to sell your ebooks. Think about this? Do you see a formula for success here?

Figure out what your subject matter is, and then narrow it down. Your goal is to aim for specificity. Research what’s out there already, and try to find a void that your ebook might fill.

Write an ebook about a wedding cake business? Or write an ebook about caring for elderly pets? How about the fine points of collecting ancient pottery? Whatever your passion let it reflect in your content.

You don’t have to have three masters degrees to write an ebook about your subject. People need advice that is easy to read and easily understood. Parents need advice for dealing with their teenagers. College students need to learn good study skills – quickly. The possibilities are endless.

After you’ve writtten your ebook Getting your ebook out is going to be your focus once you’ve finished writing it, just as it is with print books. People will hesitate to buy any book from an author they’ve never heard of. Wouldn’t you?

The answer is simple: give it away! You will see profits in the form of promoting your own business and getting your name out. You will find affiliates who will ask you to place their links within your ebook, and these affiliates will in turn go out and make your name known. Almost every single famous ebook author has started out this way.

Another powerful tool to attract people to your ebook is to make it interactive. Invent something for them to do within the book rather than just producing pages that contain static text. Let your readers fill out questionnaires, forms, even crossword puzzles geared to testing their knowledge on a particular subject.

Have your readers hit a link that will allow them to recommend your book to their friends and associates. Or include an actual order form so at the end of their reading journey, they can eagerly buy your product.

When people interact with books, they become a part of the world of that book. The fact is just as true for books in print as it is for ebooks.

That’s why ebooks are so essential. Not only do they provide a forum for people to learn and make sense of their own thoughts, but they can also serve to promote your business at the same time.

If you don’t know where to get started on writing your own ebook then read my post on, ” How To Write An Ebook ” and some tips on overcoming writers block.
